When Darkness Fell...

Most of us relate “darkness” to a lot of negative things. Some people even link “darkness” to “evil”. We have an era called the “Dark Ages”; we call the pain or suffering phase of a person’s life as his “Darkest Hours”. But have you ever considering looking at “darkness” in an optimistic point of view?

Have you heard about this? They say that the darkest part of a day is the hour before sunrise. So if you think that you’re in the darkest part of your life, hold on and be glad, ‘coz you’re just an hour away from your sunrise!

For me, I consider “darkness” as an opportunity. A chance to show what you’ve got, an occasion that you can glow, glitter or light up, a time to SHINE! A great author Julia Cameron once quoted, “Creativity - like human life itself - begins in darkness”. So the next time the sun goes down on you, smile and twinkle, ‘coz you can always sparkle, WHEN DARKNESS FELL!
